St. Victoria
Saint Victoria is the patron of Anticoli, Italy. She was a Christian noblewoman whom was arranged to marry a pagan Roman nobleman. St. Victoria refused and sold all of her belongings with the intention to stay single and devote her life to God. Her suitor insisted on marriage and imprisoned her in his estate. Saint Victoria took the opportunity to convert all of her servants and guards. Her suitor was furious and had her martyred by Julian. St. Victoria was stabbed through the heart and legend has it that her suitor was struck with leprosy and died six days later. St. Victoria's feast day is December 23rd.
