St. Thomas Aquinas
St. Thomas Aquinas was an Italian Dominican friar and priest. A prolific writer, his works are still immensely influential in philosophy, theology, and education. His ideas are well known in the areas of ethics, natural law, metaphysics, and political theory. His most famous work is the Summa Theologica. St. Thomas Aquinas is a Doctor of the Church. He is known as the patron of students and schools. His feast day is January 28.
