St. Marina

Saint Marina was one of nine sisters whom were saved by their mother's mistress when she refused to carry out their mother's plan to have them drowned. When she was twenty, her father, the governor, found her and her sisters and asked them to renounce their faith but they all refused. Saint Marina was then beheaded for her faith with her sisters. St. Marina's feast day is July 18th.
