St. Hildegard von Bingen
Saint Hildegard von Bingen was the first musical composer whom has a known biography. She was also one of the few women to write works of theology and visionary experiences. Saint Hildegard von Bingen started to have visions of luminous objects at the age of three which continued throughout her life. She wrote down what she saw in her visions when God commanded her at the age of 42 and many of her theological writings are critical of schismatics including the Cathari. Saint Hildegard von Bingen's feast day is September 17th.
