St. Gertude of Nivelles
Saint Gertrude of Nivelles is the patron of cats, gardeners, recently dead people, and widows. She built a double monastery at Nivelles and became abbess at the age of twenty. Saint Gertrude of Nevilles was well-known for her hospitality towards pilgrims and visionary experiences. She died at the age of 33 which is the same age as Jesus Christ at his death. According to legend, Saint Gertrude of Nivelles was invoked by seamen and a sea-monster facing their ship disappeared. St. Gertrude of Nivelles's feast day is March 17th.
