St. Francis of Assisi

St. Francis of Assisi, founder of the Franciscan Order, is quite possibly one of the most well documented Saints of the medieval period. Most of the documents recounting the life of St. Francis, including his own writings, have been proven to be, for the most part, true and accurate.
