St. Dominic Savio

Dominic Savio was born in 1842. Starting from a young age, Dominic displayed a great love for God and desire for holiness. Dominic entered the school run by St. John Bosco at age 12, and always displayed a deep concern and love for his fellow classmates. Throughout his life, Dominic never feared death, and would gladly accept death over even the most minor offense against God. When Dominic was 15 he became ill, and was sent home where he soon died, overjoyed to finally be in full union with God in Heaven. St. Dominic is the patron of Choir boys and the falsely accused. His feast day is celebrated on March 9th.
