St. Andrew Kim Taegon

Andrew Kim Taegon was the first Korean priest and pastor, and gave his life during the persecution of Christians in Korea during the 19th century. Pope John Paul II canonized Fr. Andrew Kim Taegon as a martyr for the faith on May 6, 1984. His feast day is celebrated on September 20th.
