St. Alexander Sauli
St. Alexander Sauli was born in 1533 into a prominent family. He became bishop of Corsica and devoted his time to the rebuilding of Churches, and founded many seminaries and colleges. St. Alexander was a known miracle worker and was also spiritual adviser to St. Charles Borromeo and the future Pope Gregory XIV. He is the patron of his see of Corsica. St. Alexander's feast day is celebrated on October 11th.
