St. Justin

Saint Justin Martyr is the patron of speakers, apologists, and philosophers. He was a pagan philosopher but eventually converted to the faith and used his orating skills to refute pagans and explain the faith. St. Justin Martyr converted due to the Scriptures and the lives of the saints. He is known as one of the first great apologists. St. Justin Martyr was martyred and his feast day is June 1st.
