Saints & Blesseds

In the Apostles Creed, Roman Catholics profess belief in the Communion of Saints (communo sanctorum). This doctrine teaches that the Church is one body under Christ; therefore, the Christians on earth remain united to the souls of the faithful that have passed on to purgatory or to their reward in heaven. Saint books are excellent resources for learning more about our spiritual brothers and sisters who spent their lives working for Christ. Books on the Saints also make great First Communion gifts and Confirmation gifts. Books on Blesseds are biographies of holy men and women who have not yet been declared Saints, but whose causes are being investigated.
