Our Lady of Perpetual Help
Our Lady of Perpetual Help (also known as Our Lady of Perpetual Succour) is a title of the Blessed Virgin Mary invoked for help and assistance in all kinds of problems or trouble. Our Lady of Perpetual Help is the name of a 13-15th century Byzantine Madonna and Child icon that hangs in the Church of St. Alphonsus Liguori in Rome. The Redemptorists are the custodians and missionaries of the famous icon, the only religious order currently entrusted by the Holy See to do so for a Marian religious work of art. The feast of Our Lady of Perpetual Help is on June 27. Learn the deeper spiritual meaning behind the icon here.
