SoG Elisabeth Leseur

Elisabeth (Elizabeth) Leseur was a late 18th and early 19th century French married woman. She lived heroic virtue in the midst of a largely secularized society and a marriage where her husband did not share or appreciate her faith. She kept a spiritual journal that conveyed such faith and love for God and her husband Felix that reading it converted Felix after Elisabeth died of cancer at age 48.
