Divine Mercy

Through revelations received from God a Polish nun, Saint Faustina, spread the Divine Mercy devotion. The message of Divine Mercy is threefold. It teaches Catholics to pray for Jesus’ mercy, to be merciful, and to completely trust in Jesus. The chaplet of Divine Mercy is traditionally prayed on Fridays and at 3:00 p.m., the hour in which Jesus perished on the cross. Divine Mercy Sunday is celebrated the first Sunday after Easter. The Divine Mercy has quickly grown to be a beloved devotion of the Catholic Church.
